Aluminium Siding - Technical Data
The siding profiled panels are continuously manufactured and cut after the roll forming process according to customer specification. For structural reasons, panels should not be longer than 6,000 mm. Aluform Siding profiled panels are primarily suitable for covering walls. They can be installed both vertically and horizontally.
| Profile | Height of construction [mm] | Cover width [mm] | Metal thickness [mm] |

Thermal expansion due to temperature differences and weather conditions may affect the aesthetic of a wall. For this reason, taking precautions are necessary to accommodate thermal expansion. In most cases, this can be provided by either a relatively flexible support or a bigger borehole so thermal stresses are avoided.
Possible structures for use are:
- Exterior shell of a multilayered wall with a profiled, spaced interior shell
- Exterior shell of a multilayered wall combined with steel cassettes as interior shell
- Curtain wall in front of concrete or brick walls containing an intermediate structure - with or without insulation
